CityBus Employees Recognized for Safety, Excellence

CityBus driver William “Buddy” Silver has been driving for 30 years without an accident. Judith Sadler’s record of accident-free driving is 25 years, and JoeMcDowell’s record is 23 years. Silver, Sadler, McDowell and dozens of other CityBus drivers were recognized for their safe driving records at a banquet hosted by CityBus on Sunday, Nov. 9 at The Trails in West Lafayette.

“The annual Safety Banquet recognizes and rewards our employees for their outstanding performance,” said Martin Sennett, General Manager. “When you consider the number of miles our bus drivers and mechanics drive on a daily basis, it is commendable to have so many employees with accident-free records.”

CityBus drivers log a cumulative 1.6 million miles annually.
