3B Northwestern detour ends

A detour on route 3B Northwestern will end today, announced CityBus. The detour, which had buses avoiding construction in the area of Sycamore Lane, will end and buses will resume the regular route beginning Saturday, January 9th.

Construction has ceased until April. CityBus will likely need to detour again in the spring, but until then, the bus will follow the published route, with service provided along Carlisle, Sycamore, and Anthrop in West Lafayette.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

CityBus will operate the regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 18th, with the following exceptions in effect:

• Campus Loops will not operate. Service will end at 6PM on Friday, January 15th and will resume Tuesday, January 19th. This means no Campus Loop service will operate, including the nighttime Gold Loop and Towers Acres, Black Loop, or NightRider buses.
  
• 8 Klondike Express will not operate as shown on the schedule. The route does not operate on days when Purdue classes are out of session.
  
• 4B Purdue West/Klondike will serve Purdue Village on inbound trips, as shown on the schedule. This means inbound stops along State St. between Airport Rd. and Jischke Dr. will not be served.
  
• 23 Wabash Trolley Line will operate the Black Line route.
