1A detouring in Treece Meadows

Route 1A Market Square is detouring around construction on Harper Dr. through Thursday, March 25th. Inbound and outbound buses are using Stinger St., Daisy Dr., and Julia Ln. to drive around construction.

Lane restrictions on Co. Rd. 350 S.

The city of Lafayette has announced lane restrictions on Co. Rd. 350 S. between 9th St. and Concord Rd, beginning Thursday, March 18. CityBus route 6B S. 18th St. may not be able to serve bus stops in the areas affected by temporary lane closures.

Passengers should walk to the nearest bus stop, where the bus will be able to get to the curb. Lane restrictions will be in effect until April 2nd, according to the city.

Trolley detouring this week for construction

Route 23 Wabash Trolley Line is detouring around construction on N. Martin Jischke Dr.

Trolleys will follow Third St. eastbound all the way to Russell St., turn right, and then resume route at State St.

Bus stops on N. Martin Jischke Dr., and inbound stops on the south side of State St. prior to Lilly Hall will not be served.

This detour will be in effect through Friday, March 19th.

Spring Break Service Advisory

Purdue's Spring Break is finally here, which means a few changes to the CityBus schedule:

• Campus Loops will end operations, Friday March 12, at 6PM. Service will resume on Monday, March 22.

The following advisories will be in effect Monday, March 15 through Friday, March 19:

• 4B Purdue West/Klondike will serve Purdue Village on inbound trips, bypassing stops on State St. from Airport Rd. to S. Martin Jischke Dr.
• 8 Klondike Express will not operate.
• 23 Wabash Trolley will follow the Black Line route and schedule.

The regular schedule will resume on Monday, March 22. Have a safe and enjoyable Spring Break.

Cumberland Ave. Detours

Construction on Cumberland Ave. in West Lafayette is resulting in a significant detour on route 1B Salisbury, which is expected to be in effect until mid-June. Cumberland Ave. between U.S. 52 and Yeager Rd. is closed to through traffic, so buses are detouring around the area.

Outbound 1B buses (buses from downtown to Walmart) will turn right at Yeager Rd. from Cumberland Ave., left at MacClure, follow roundabout to right on Win Hentschel, left at U.S. 52, and resume the route at Cumberland Ave.

Inbound 1B buses (buses from Walmart to downtown) will turn right on U.S. 52 from Cumberland Ave., left on Yeager Rd., and resume route at Cumberland Ave.

Service at Salem Courthouse Apartments and along the south side of Purdue Research Park is severely affected by this detour. Passengers using CityBus in these areas will need to board or alight buses at Yeager Rd. and Cumberland Ave. while the detour is in effect.
