Labor Day Weekend

CityBus will not operate on Monday, September 5th in recognition of Labor Day. All offices will be closed for the day.

Because classes at Purdue will not be held on Monday, Campus Loop service will not operate over the weekend. All Campus Loop routes will end operations at 6PM Friday, September 2nd, and there will be no Black Loop or NightRider service on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights. Regular route buses will operate the usual schedule on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

All service will resume on Tuesday, September 6th.

Mosey Down Main Street

Main Street will be closed between 2nd and 11th streets at 4PM on Saturday September 3 for Mosey Down Main St. Cross traffic will be allowed at 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 9th streets. Buses and trolleys will detour around the closures as follows:

· 3 Lafayette Square, will use Columbia St. instead of Main.

· Wabash Trolley, follow 11^th to left on Ferry, left on 2nd, resume route at Main.

Weekend detours downtown

The following street closures will result in downtown detours this weekend.

Uptown Jazz & Blues Festival, Saturday, August 27th

Main Street will be closed between 4th and 6th streets beginning at 12 noon.

• Inbound 3 Lafayette Square will follow Main to right on 6th, left on Ferry, resume route at 4th.


• Wabash Trolley Line will follow Main to right on 6th, left on Ferry, left on 3rd, resume route at Main.

Parade at Riehle Plaza, Sunday, August 28th, 12:30PM to 3:00PM

Second St. will be closed from Ferry to Main for an event honoring a returning soldier. Buses will not be able to meet for transfers at Riehle Plaza. Routes 1A, 3, 4A, and 7 will meet for transfers on 3rd St. between Ferry and Cincinnati for departures at 12:45PM, 1:45PM, and 2:45PM.

OUTfest street closures Saturday

Main Street in Lafayette will be closed between 6th and 9th streets starting at 2PM on Saturday, August 20th for Outfest. Buses and trolleys will detour around the closures as follows:

• 1A Market Square, evening inbound route will use Ferry St. instead of Main.


• 3A Lafayette Square, inbound bus will use Columbia St. instead of Main.


• Wabash Trolley, will follow 11th to left on Ferry, left on 6th, resume route at Main.
